PROJECT TYPE
Interior & Landscape Design
PROJECT AREA
2000 m2
LOCATION
Büyükçekmece | Istanbul
BO Villa is a residential project located in MESA Yeşilyaka Koru, Büyükçekmece, where landscape and interior design were developed together as a single, integrated concept. The project aims to strengthen the relationship between architecture, outdoor living, and daily comfort, creating a refined villa environment shaped by contemporary lines and a clear spatial identity.
One of the key design decisions was the reorganization of the existing parking area in order to reduce its visual dominance at the entrance and reveal the villa more clearly. A covered storage area was added as a continuation of the parking zone, while the canopy designed between the parking and entrance axis was completed with a glazed enclosure at the villa entrance. The entrance landscape was further enriched with a tree feature, fruit trees, a playhouse area, and a hobby garden, while the connection from the main entrance to the garden was reinforced through an iconic tree and sculptural elements.
In the main living garden, a breakfast terrace, barbecue house, jacuzzi area, and fire pit were designed as multifunctional outdoor spaces that encourage the use of the entire garden. Following the landscape design, the interior spaces were shaped to reflect the same modern language through matching lines, details, and colors, creating a cohesive residential atmosphere where interior architecture and landscape design support each other in a balanced and elegant way.
