Cıgır Kimya was founded in 1992 to develop and produce shoe polish and leather care products under the SILVER brand. Leveraging its brand recognition and quality production infrastructure—including product formulations, industrial designs, plastic molds, automation lines, and quality control processes—Cıgır Kimya has become one of Turkiye's top 500 export companies. The company stands out in all its business areas with its innovative vision, resulting in numerous patented products and technologies.
In line with this vision, the façade work, white- and blue-collar cafeteria areas, dining hall, and personnel areas of the factory were designed and projected by the TEAM Project Architecture team. The design of the Silver Newline Factory aims to create a productive and comfortable environment for all employees by combining functional spaces with an aesthetic identity. The façade design and interior architectural approach integrate innovative materials and advanced design techniques to create a cohesive and visually appealing workspace.
The factory façade is a reflection of contemporary industrial design. The vertical surfaces with diagonal lines manifest a volumetric expression that defines the entrance area of the factory. This deconstructivist approach creates a visually striking effect while reflecting the innovative spirit of the factory. The design decisions made on the façade are mirrored within the interior, ensuring continuity and harmonic unity between the interior and exterior spaces.
Alongside the façade design, the interior architectural approach reinforces Silver's pioneering stance in its field. Personnel areas are designed with a focus on comfort and functionality. Ergonomic furnishings and a strategic lighting plan provide a comfortable working environment. Common areas are integrated to promote efficiency and teamwork. Strong acoustic insulation in the break areas, supported by controlled openings, addresses the need for privacy with spatial solutions.
Interior green spaces offer a healthy and eco-friendly working environment. Cafeterias designed for white- and blue-collar employees stand out with their timeless design lines. The use of neutral colors and natural light creates a tranquil atmosphere. A palette of natural tones combined with industrial material selections forms a harmonic contrast. Modern lighting fixtures, comfortable seating arrangements, and carefully placed green spaces enhance aesthetic appeal while encouraging relaxation and social interaction. The layout ensures smooth circulation even during peak hours, providing ample space for employees to enjoy their breaks comfortably. Additionally, the dining hall serves as a central gathering area for all employees. It features flexible seating arrangements suitable for different groups and activities.
