The HK Villa project in Istanbul, designed by TEAM Project, includes architecture, interior design, and landscape development for twin villas. A strong visual dialogue between the two structures was established, guided by the concept of “an oasis in the desert.” Neutral tones and natural materials create a timeless and balanced design language.
Wooden slats at the entrance define a refined and welcoming façade, maintaining spatial continuity throughout. While the architecture appears minimal during the day, concealed lighting adds a modern and expressive atmosphere in the evening. The inner garden, accessed from the basement level, connects interior and exterior spaces and features a pool, winter garden, dining and barbecue area, and relaxation zones.
Large façade openings facing the garden bring natural light and greenery into the living areas, softening the boundary between indoors and outdoors. The combination of stone, wood, and tropical planting enhances the serene, oasis-inspired character of the project, resulting in a contemporary and harmonious living environment.
