Sarp Recreation Zones is designed as a dynamic and sustainable social environment in Büyükçekmece, Istanbul, developed for SARP Intermodal. The project brings together architecture, interior design, and landscape design within a unified concept, creating a recreational setting that responds to the rhythm of contemporary business life while offering a strong visual identity.
One of the defining aspects of the project is the use of container-based structures. Rather than creating a fully enclosed circulation system, the design organizes the space through open and semi-open areas, increasing interaction points and strengthening transparency between different functions. This layered relationship between enclosed, semi-open, and outdoor spaces supports a more social, flexible, and experience-driven environment.
Landscape elements play a central role in shaping the atmosphere of the project. Courtyard paving, planting compositions, and the controlled use of light and shadow create a natural and tactile spatial quality, while the interiors introduce a more energetic contrast through industrial textures and vibrant color accents. As a result, Sarp Recreation Zones presents a contemporary recreation concept that feels both functional and distinctive.
